India is not one place to see. It is many different worlds, sometimes just a journey apart. Over 10 days, this trip takes you through three of them: the energy of the city, the stories carved into stone, and the quiet of the forest.

We begin in Mumbai, getting to know the city through the people who make it what it is — from the dabbawalas delivering thousands of lunches each day to the workshop owners of Dharavi and the crews bringing Bollywood films to life. From there, a train takes us inland to the rock-cut temples of Ellora and the ancient painted caves of Ajanta. We then fly to central India, where the sal forests of Kanha offer a very different pace of life — and a chance to explore the landscapes that inspired The Jungle Book.

And while spotting a tiger would be unforgettable, it may not be the moment you remember most. It could be a morning spent with a dabbawala crew, a conversation in a Dharavi workshop, or the stillness of the forest at dawn. This is a journey that begins in the middle of the action and gradually makes room to slow down, look closer and take it all in.
